e-Register is the online registration system for the exams conducted by RRB Chennai.

 Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Chennai is primarily responsible for recruiting the supervisory and other non-gazetted staff required for three divisions (Chennai, Salem and Tiruchirapalli), the Head Quarters of Southern Railway and Integral Coach Factory, Chennai.

Before applying for CENTRALISED EMPLOYMENT NOTICE No. 01/2011, please go through the instructions by clicking on the "Instructions" button given  below. Then click on "Apply online" button to register your details for the post applied for.

What you need before applying online:

 You first need a computer with a printer.

 Please have your Demand Draft / IPO for the appropriate amount [ Rs.40/- for UR and OBC candidates only for CEN 01/2011 - RRB/Chennai ] ready in favour of  Assistant Secretary, RRB Chennai payable at  Chennai drawn on any nationalized bank with minimum validity of six months. The date of issue must not be prior to 13/08/2011 and later than 12/09/2011. No examination fees for women candidates, SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Muslims/Christians/Sikhs/Buddhists/Zorastrians(Parsis) candidates. Economically backward class candidates whose family income is less than Rs.50,000 per annum are exempted from examinations fees.

 You have the option to upload your photograph in JPEG, JPG or GIF format. However, also have your passport size photograph ready to be pasted / sent along with the printed application form.

Advantages of applying online:

 By registering through 'e-Register' your application details will reach RRB, Chennai instantly. You only have to send the printout along with enclosures to RRB, Chennai.

On the printed application form, write the declaration in your own handwriting in English, reproducing every word indicated in the space provided clearly and legibly. Affix your signatures and the left thumb impression clearly in the spaces provided.

 You can view the status of your application by using your Online registration number or by entering your name, D.O.B after 45 days of closure of notification.

 'e-Register'  will also prompt you if you omit any mandatory fields, thus ensuring that the chances of rejection of your application are less.
